The Department of Applied Science and Humanities (ASH) serves as the cornerstone for the study of various engineering disciplines, providing students with robust intellectual and cultural foundations essential for modern professions. Offering a diverse range of courses, including Management, Accounting, Economics, Sociology, English, Psychology, Political Science, Industrial Laws, and Professional Ethics, the department aims to broaden students’ global perspective, foster clear communication skills, cultivate critical and creative thinking abilities, and instill problem-solving capabilities. Additionally, these courses aim to develop engaged citizens and thinkers, reinforce cultural and ethical values, enhance understanding of the societal impact of science and technology, and nurture well-rounded academics. Beyond classroom instruction, dedicated faculty members oversee various clubs such as cultural, language, debating, photography, and career clubs.
