Mechanical engineering encompasses a wide array of engineering disciplines, focusing on five major areas: thermodynamics, solid mechanics and dynamics, fluid mechanics, design and manufacturing. Specialized areas of study include combustion engines, acoustics, aerodynamics, biomechanical engineering, environmental engineering, energy conversion systems, material science, robotics, and vehicle design. The B.Sc. in ME program introduces students to fundamental concepts and principles, followed by advanced courses and electives that delve into specialized knowledge and practical applications. Hands-on experience is gained through experimental lab sections, allowing students to work with current engineering equipment. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) stands as an integral component of the engineering discipline, encompassing the amalgamation of computer science, computer engineering, and electrical engineering.
